My responsibilities keep geting bigger and I must be a glutton for punishment. Last night I was elected to the Minnesota Outdoor Heritage Board of Directors.

Just got in from the woods a bit ago. Starting raining like crazy around 2pm. But, I had a great morning and witnessed some really crazy deer behavior. I had a good 8 pointer and a 6 dogging does for a half hour in front of me! Its January 11th! For my neck of the woods, this is unusual. The doe, I'm guessing was a yearling this season and most likely came into heat late. But wow, what a neat deal. Unfortunately, the 8 ran past me twice at 30 yards, not stopping for a shot. Makes me want to break out the estrus scents again.

I am waiting to see a pair of rubber boots come out from Predator, any chance something like that may be in the works? I would buy several pairs of them. Mr Hood, what do you say? :-)
