Intro to Archery All Ages

This is a one-time introductory class. It is for youth who know very little about archery, but are interested in the sport and ready to get their feet wet! It will cover basic safety procedures, the proper form, how to check eye dominance, and most importantly how to properly handle a bow, so that you can let your first arrow fly! You will have the opportunity to shoot both recurve and compound. We want to make your first experience with archery a great one, so we will always make sure that everyone is having fun and being safe at the same time. All youth are then encouraged to take part in our six week Archery 101 class.

  • Instructor Training
  • Classes include 50 min of instruction and 10 min of discussion and cleanup
  • Register online 24 hrs in advance. No Exceptions.
  • One-time Class, can not be split up over multiple days
  • Equipment Provided by The Archery Headquarters
  • Saturdays 3:00pm-4:00pm
  • Sundays 3:00pm-4:00pm
  • Cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance for full refund otherwise voucher is forfeited
  • You must be on time for class, No late admittance!!!

Intro to Archery Ages 18 and Over

This one time introductory class offers the chance for adults to learn about the sport in a recreational environment with their peers. Whether or not you just want to start shooting for fun or move beyond to competition shooting, we will help you get there. This class is focused specifically on the fundamentals of archery beginning with safety, proper form, how to check eye dominance, and most importantly how to properly handle a bow. After this information is delivered, we will get you shooting your first arrow! You will have the opportunity to shoot both recurve and compound. It is almost guaranteed that this first introduction will have you hooked on archery! So, we offer you the opportunity to take part in our six week Archery 101.
